Reflection
This standard is one that allows the instructor to create diverse learning experiences. Through the development of digital lessons, learning resources, and various assessments the instructor can diversify the lessons to target different learning styles. There is a plethora of tools online that can be used by the instructor to facilitate learning specific objectives and satisfy learners' needs. The artifacts that I have chosen to represent this standard illustrate both formative and summative assessments. I also included learning activities that address diverse learning styles and incorporated the use of digital tools.
Edupuzzle is a unique program that allows the instructor to incorporate quizzes into videos. This is a very useful tool in an asynchronous classroom that allows the instructor to know if a student really watched and understood content in a video.
Please click on the button below to view the course Introduction to Webdesign. This artifacts does need the participant to utilize the program Schoology.com. If you would like to access this account you will need to create a free Schoology.com account. Once you have completed this you can view the courses by entering the access code-9MH2-X9QD-8PTQR. This artifact is a great tool that incorporates multiple assessments. The students are asked to complete assignments which they will submit digitally. This course will live online and can be accessed by students at any time as long as they have an internet connection. This course introduces the student to basic HTML and CSS, they will be directed by their instructors with videos, power points and written directions in order to create HTML documents in Notepad. The culminating project allows the students to take all of the information they have learned in the class and create a web page in Notepad with an HTML extension, which allows the students to see what the page would look like online.
I chose to use a Quizziz as an artifact to illustrate how student could be assessed in a a digital environment, instead of the traditional paper and pencil style quiz. Quizziz.com is a free online program that assess the student and allows for immediate feedback. This program allows the students to see their results and gives them an immediate sense of accomplishment if they did well as well it also lets the instructor know what skills may be lacking. This tool also has a live game feature, this feature promotes competition in the classroom and motivates students to do their best. When using this resource you have to decide whether it will be a game or a solo quiz. I have and will continue to use this tool in my classroom because it allows students a new fun way to take a quick quiz that checks for understanding. When using this resource you will have to be added to my class, you can use the following click the following link: joinmyquiz.com Students will then be asked to enter the class Code. Please enter the code 680737 to join the quiz.(this Quizzizz code will expire in 14 days I posted this on October 23, 2019)

Future Goals:
My future goals will incorporate the use of the tools and resources that I have learned in the MSIT program at the University of Southern Mississippi. I would like to be employed by a consulting company that provides professional development (pd) to teachers across the country. I would like to instruct and facilitate workshops for educators, that will teach them how to embrace and use the technology they possess in their classroom. I would also like to develop and create pd's that are engaging to educators and geared toward 21st Century Learners. The goal of the training would be to bridge the technological gap that continues to grow between educator and student. I would ultimately like to develop a curriculum that incorporates technology.
